Dear members of Societas Ethica,

because of the Corona pandemic we are unfortunately compelled to cancel our annual conference on "Intercultural Ethics" in Sarajevo this year. We are very unhappy about this, however we know that the basic conditions are too uncertain to carry out a conference responsibly in Sarajevo. We agreed with our members and partners in Sarajevo that we will organize a conference on this topic in Sarajevo at another time with more favourable conditions.

Instead, we have decided to hold a digital conference this year. Between the 19th-21st August 2021 we would like to present a conference on the topic »Crisis and Hope« where we discuss current issues from the ethical point of view (not only the Corona pandemic).
