Hello! To register for the 2018 Societas Ethica Annual Conference in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, you must complete the form below and submit your registration payment. There are two methods for this: direct wire transfer and electronic payment via PayPal.
Details about the conference
The annual conference will be held in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium on 23 – 26 August 2018. The conference will be held at the Université catholique de Louvain. Conference attendees will stay at the Ibis Hotel, which is a nice, short walk from the UCL.
- Conference starts on Thursday, 23 August 2018 at 16:00 and concludes at Sunday, 26 August 2018 at 14:00.
- The conference fee includes the conference participation, accommodation, all meals, and excursion — a Societas Ethica tradition.
- There is a "conference and meals" only option for local conference attendees who do not require accommodation. It includes the costs for the excursion.
Conference fee
Members of Societas Ethica: 475 EUR (which includes 50 EUR annual membership fee). Please note that in order to become a member, you must have attended at least one conference, and be nominated and accepted as a member by the general assembly. First-time particpants are kindly asked to pay the fee for non-members.
Non-members: 475 EUR
Doctoral students without institutional support: 300 EUR
The conference fee includes conference participation, accommodation, all meals, and the excursion — a Societas Ethica tradition.
Conference and meals only (no accommodations): 250 EUR
Registration and Payment
Registration and payment must be received no later than 01 July 2018.
Payment for registration should be either made by wire transfer to our account (the details are below) or by electronic payment via Paypal. The preferred method is the wire transfer due to transaction fees from PayPal.
